Our Approach

The Welch Practice provides innovative speech-language therapy that empowers individuals to become their own communication advocates. We offer individual and group therapy, diagnostic evaluations, screenings, parent training, and school consultations. Areas of Training and Support

  • Executive Function (with emphasis on memory): Strategies and interventions that strengthen working memory, recall, organization, and cognitive flexibility.

  • Apraxia of Speech: Use of prompt‑based tactile cues to support motor planning and improve speech production.

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Support for non‑speaking individuals using letter boards and other AAC tools, including low tech approaches using letterboards.
